The Rex Cinema is a stunning 1930s Art Deco cinema, brought up to date with excellent sound, screen, and marvellous, comfortable plush seating. It is worth a visit just to see the building alone! Consequently, it does get booked up in advance, so if there’s...More

Love going to the Rex, it is worth waiting a month for the movies to come there, as you get comfy seats, wine and peanuts, as opposed to popcorn and cola.

Who could call a visit to the cinema as unforgettable. This theatre is lavish inside, on walking into the upper area you are amazed at the beautiful walls at the sides of the screen. Like thirties shells lit with little lights it looks gorgeous. Moving...More

Love the velvet glamour. Comfy swivel movable seats on the ground floor. Great prices. And after you can go for a romantic walk along the canal.
