This is probably the best dive shop I've been to in terms of the facilities, there are male and female bathrooms with hot water showers! There's also a well stocked bar that also serves fantastic coffee. Andy and Emmy are not just friendly but good people trying to bring recycling to the island.
Whilst our dives were enjoyable, our second day wasnt quite as good as our first. Our dive guide was a bit overstretched taking out a first time diver as well as our group of mixed abilities. Unfortunately our guide naturally had to spend the majority of his time with the single diver which meant that we didn't quite get the experience of a guided dive. I think this was a bit of an oversight down to being a bit stretched but it was disappointing.
I would definitely recommend this dive shop and I will be going back next time on on the island.
I can also recommend Emmy's yoga classes, the best I've ever been too.

I had such a great experience with Scuba Montserrat. I was introduced to this company while on a Study Abroad trip with my school, the University of Michigan - Dearborn. We got there early in the morning and I was surprised to see that they had coffee drinks as well! One of the few coffee shops on the island and truly made a great cappuccino with fresh brewed coffee. The two male team members who took us out were very great and knowledgable of the coral reefs that we were exploring along with the other animals that live inside of those habitats. I have done snorkeling before and have always had a rough time with it as having a slight fear of the unknown in the ocean. This time I felt very comfortable though and saw very cool creatures through the water. The boat ride to Rendezvous Beach was also really nice and the two younger guys driving the boat were super nice and talked to us about what we were seeing on the way there along with telling us more about what's on the island. When we got back to the shop after our snorkeling experience, we were refreshed with fresh banana coconut daiquiris and they were very good (although a little strong for the early afternoon lol)The dive shop also had great souvenirs and I got a super cute Scuba Montserrat Tank Top. They also took some really great pictures when we were out in the water! I highly recommend this business and enjoyed every minute with it!

We took the snorkel trip to Rendezvous Bay with Andrew. He was a great guide, leading us through the best coral and fishes. We wanted to take his boat ride over and guided snorkel so we could later in the week rent kayaks from Scuba Montserrat and go back to Rendezvous ourselves. But the high winds prevented that later in our week.
Coral at Rendezvous was vibrant.
Scuba Montserrat has a great location in Little Bay and a really fun bar and coffee shop. I highly recommend connecting with them before you go, or at least as soon as you get there, for your watersport needs.

I was hoping to scuba dive, but my trip unfortunately lined up with Andy and Emmy being off the island. However, we did have an excellent boat ride and snorkeling trip with Shane and Chase. They were super friendly, worked great with the kids, and helped us see a lot of cool things while snorkeling. Highly recommended!

My husband and I dove with Scuba Montserrat for 4 days (8 dives). Our Dive Master, Emmy, was wonderful as was her partner Andrew. Don't expect a typical dive adventure as in other locations around the world. Emmy and Andrew use local boats to do their dives and I can only say that this adds to the overall experience. The dive shop is simple yet has everything to do the dives. They are knowledgeable about diving and Montserrat and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to dive in Montserrat.

One thing about Montserrat is that everything is simple... no rush rush... everyone is on "Island Time"... it is a place to relax and enjoy the land , the people and the sea. Thank you for recommending Scuba Montserrat, Cheers! see you again soon!

Had a wonderful time diving with Emmy and Shawn! Professional, courteous, and incredibly friendly! I’m still a beginner diver, so safety was important to me. Both Emmy and Shawn provided safety briefings before going out into the reefs and were great at spotting things to look at. Would recommend the shore dive at Woodlands Beach for anyone new to diving. Waters were calm and very warm in mid-September.
Please remember to purchase reef friendly sunscreen and aloe that they have in stock at the shop!!!
Thank You Scuba Montserrat!

Andrew and Emmy run a small dive shop but are big on service. Actually, they have the biggest dive shop on the island since nothing is big on Monserrat. They are a professional, friendly, and easy going couple who provide excellent service with the very limited technical resources the island has to offer. Don't expect things to be perfect, but do expect that Andrew and Emmy will resolve any problems that arise so that your diving is fun and safe. At the end of the day, they will rinse your equipment and take it back to the shop and then have it on the boat ready for your next day of diving. Like most everything else on the island, they run as a cash business (no credit cards) but it you have an American check, you can pay with that. But the best thing about diving with Andrew and Emmy was when Emmy spotted a mother and calf humpbacked whale and we spent the next half hour snorkeling with them!

We dived for 5 days (10 dive total) and had a great time. Andrew was fun, knowledgeable, cordial, safe, and reliable. He was also very accomodating to our requests for dive sites. My husband enjoyed the lion fish hunting. We got our underwater pictures taken for the first time eventhough we have been diving for a while. We saw string rays (almost every dive), turtles, spotted eagle rays and lots of fish. Compare to Bonaire, Virgin Islands, Roatan, Montserrat doesn't have many dive sites (a dozen or so) and some sites are healthier than others (due to the local fishing practice), but I think Andrew makes up what's lacking. He is involved in variety of education and research to support a healthier ecosystem there. Thanks Andrew for a memorable vacation and we'll be back!

Look forward to seeing you again in the near future and I'll show off some more of our special sites!

So, I'm not a huge fan of water but I put my big girl pants on and headed out snorkeling for the 3rd time with my husband. Emmy checked us in and had a life jacket for me. Andrew went diving with another customer and Emmy hung out with us during snorkeling. She was kind and kept her eye on me to ensure I was okay. We've snorkeled in Antigua and were in really rough waters, but our experience off of Montserrat the water was so calm. As we moved to another location, Emmy spotted whales and Andrew worked hard to get us as close as possible while still being safe. We ended up with great video and are so grateful for the opportunity. We also had time at Rendezvous Beach and had the beach to ourselves. Beautiful. Thank you Emmy and Andrew!

My wife and I had a wonderful tour with Andrew and Emmy who were gracious and knowledgeable guides. To our surprise we saw a mother Humpback whale and her calf while boating to our second snorkel location. We were able to strap on our masks and fins and view the whales up close and underwater. Truly an amazing experience we will never forget. Highly recommend Scuba Montserrat and the tour guides Andrew and Emmy. Great trip!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! Your snorkel trip turned into whale watching! You honestly don't know the surprises that can come upon us when nature is involved! ... or.... I wonder if Emmy and Andrew set that up especially for you both?? They are excellent guides, that make every trip unique!
