So coming to krems the night before it wasn't very alluring. However. visiting the next day and reading that the unesco heritage site is actually the river side drive between krems and melk we went. And wow!!!! Now I know why it's a heritage site....More

Went here by car from Vienna. Took about an hour. Stoped at the towns Krems and Dürnstein. Beautiful landscape with Donau alongside of the road. Fields of wine and apricot trees as far as the eye can see.

Family run winery in beautiful area facing the Danube.,at 52 Winklglasse,3610 Wosendorf, Son George and family with his parents Josef and Theresia run this picturesque spot.The Wine is worth a taste , we bought a couple bottles for our trip to Vienna!
