Because we wanted to support small businesses, we decided not to go to a supermarket, but to make an ''essential'' trip here to get our veg, meat etc, got there at 1.30pm, and CLOSED, advertised on their website, social media and google as open 10am-4pm. No updates to social media or website about closing early or not being open.
As we will not know whether they will be open or not, we wont bother going back.

This is not my local farm shop but I sometimes go when in the area visiting. Compared to my local ones in Kent it isn’t bad. It offers a reasonable butchers selection, cheeses and fresh produce among other things. Personally think that prices are high but thats compared to prices in Kent so my opinion may be skewed. Particularly like the beer bacon and the Suffolk gold cheese they sell here. Recently tried a steak and kidney pie from here. Completely dissatisfied. I struggled to find the steak element in the pie. If I want a pastry pie with kidney sprinkles and a mediocre gravy I will know where to go. Not good at all and made worse by price paid, was expecting more from a reputable farm shop.

We made a visit to the Tea Rooms at Emmerdale Farm Shop where Mum and I visit regularly however today we took a dear friend to have afternoon tea. Sonia, Nicky and all the staff went out of their way to make our afternoon tea a really lovely experience, in a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Sonia, Nicki, Karen and Annie work very hard to make your visit to the Tea Rooms a pleasure. We would highly recommend a visit Allison and Kevin Firman

The choice of fresh vegetables, meats and local produce was a joy to behold. The packaged meat products choice and value was amazing. The fresh butchery department is a meat lovers paradise.

We went for breakfast this morning, which was really lovely, after breakfast we thought we'd have a walk around the shop, all was great until we got to the till to pay. The lady (Yvonne) was so rude that she definitely needs some customer service training. We will not be going back.

What a fab shop, especially the butchers. Easy to get carried away. We bought some Rib eye steak which was amazing and bought sweetbreads which are very hard to find in London. Lots of lovely other bits purchased from the other part of the shop , chutneys etc.

Great selection of foods at a great farm Shop.
Wonderful butchery, fresh vegetables and fabulous frozen treats, with wines and beers and well stocked chilled meats and fish.
Not a cheap shopping experience but the quality makes this a value for money farm shop.

I ordered a breakfast bap on white baguette and my wife a toastie, when we were eventually served! My order arrived on a brown roll and consisted of one small sausage cut in half and a single rasher of bacon!! This for almost £5???
My wife's toastie was a greasy mess, obviously fried in a pan rather than done in a toaster!
Upon going to pay the staff were more interested in chatting together rather than serving customers.
All in all a terrible experience. We always spend a lot of money in the shop here. This was our first experience of the café.
We shall never use this place, café or shop again!!!

On our way to Minsmere, we stopped here for lunch. The food was OK, except that my Ham omelette was over cooked. Nothing drastic and no problem. The service was really good and the staff friendly.

My partner and his friend stopped here for a fry up after completing the dunwich dynamo (120 mile bike ride through the night). The food here is amazing.good quality products, reasonably priced and very tasty.
However the main thing that impressed me was the way they took care of these two unknown guys.not only did the owner give them blankets but let them sleep for a good few hours on the Sofa's in the upstairs part of the cafe.they also let them keep their bikes in a secure place until they were picked up.
Second to none on customer service. You don't get such hospitality in many places. Thank you so much for taking such good care of two exhausted bike riders!
