Easy to view from the 94 bus, cost 20 r. Helped by my wife's cousin's commentary. Better still with a guided tour of the town followed with an excellent fish lunch. Thank you Louda.

You over look the Valley Of Death which is now farmed, a good guide that is Knowledgeable can really bring it to life. Also lots of WWII vehicles on hand as a side sight.

This place is of most interest to people interested in history. Lovely view is probably the main attraction point. Not a must see, but worth a quick stop over if you have spare time

The view from above the valley provides a great perspective as to how the British got caught in the death throes during the Charge of the Light Brigade. For people interested in military history, and maybe poetry, the stop is worth the time, especially if...More

You look down into the valley where the Light Brigade marched to its death. You will probably be standing where the generals, who directed the operation, stood. It is easy to see how the area, if covered by canon fire, could dessimate an entire brigade....More

We visited here as part of a tour. Our guide explained where all the parties were based and we could understand how the battle took place. All of the signage is in Russian so without a guide you would find it difficult to follow, unless...More

A fascinating piece of history explained to us by our guide whilst overlooking the valley so we could see where the lines were drawn, the different armies were set out and how and why the battle developed. Unless you know the history well you will...More
