If you are to Sevastopol take half a day to see this in Balaklava. This is where the USSR kept their nuclear subs well hidden. Interesting tour into the mountain. Once finished with the museum take walk along the small harbour.

Great fun to wander the underground tunnels with their massive blast proof doors and see where the submarines came in for repairs. Really gives you a feel for the Cold War. Visit!

It is reported elsewhere that this Museum is English speaking unfriendly! Totally not true, there are English Tours, and all the exhibits have English subtitles It is an amazing attraction and a must see if you are in Crimea
