Unexpected rock in normandy. There are people that climb it or you can just walk by in the valley. Can get crowded during the weekends.

Hello, thank you for your comment ! Aren't you talking about Clécy ? You can't climb the rock here because of its protections.

Views from the rocher are fantastic. Good idea to wear good shoes if you want to climb on the rocks. There are several circuits to follow. They are signposted, but not always clear. We followed the circuit des gorges and followed a descent that was...More

A must see. Plunging cliffs into the river Orne. Panoramic views. Good tourist office with toilets. Highly recommended.

Worth a visit even is you just have time to walk to the view point. If time permits there are several good walking trails from the visitor centre.

Picturesque scenery with plenty of walking - visited with 2 children and did one of the orienteering courses. Quite steep steps up from the bottom but we were warned and you can just walk on the top. Good 'go-ape' courses with differing heights/challenges for children...More

Went for a Christmas Fayre and fell in love with the place. Will definitely be visiting regularly. We were sad to have missed the autumn colours which must be spectacular.

I wouldn't want to descend the combination of natural stone and wooden "stairways" in wet weather. Not at age 73. But we had beautiful weather for the few hours we spent going down to the river and back from the well-organized starting point (with toilets...More

There are some lovely walking tracks in this area with fabulous views over the valley. The marked walks start at only 2.5km - but be aware that given the landscape of the Suisse Normande this still means a steep climb at some point! We arrived...More

This place has changed a lot over the years but the scenery is always worth seeing. In the quiet times there is a real feeling of tranquility here as you look down over the landscape. The old building is long gone and a new visitor...More
