The old railway station, which the Royal Family used when visiting Sandringham, has been beautifully restored. Although now a private house, so you cannot go inside, the platform area has various memorabilia from the age of steam. The building behind is also well worth a...More

This place is full of history and is beautifully maintained. The man who owns it is a mine of information and justifiably proud of what he has achieved.

Called back in on the way from Kings Lynn. What a beautiful place and so well maintained. Congratulations to the gentleman who maintains this old Royal Station. It was great that you could walk on the platform and take pictures.

Had heard about here and visited when staying in Norfolk. So well presented and free entry. Lots of photo opportunities. Beautiful buildings, small museum and the station platforms and signal box. Dog friendly! Lovely location and interesting history.

A snapshot of times gone by. Sympathetically restored and maintained - the station used by the royal family when travelling to Sandringham. Very interesting and well worth a visit.

Agree with above. It's a private property and the owners are very good about letting people in and around. They may have been away and couldn't supervise the site.

Great place to visit. Definitely worth a visit. It is a private residence so pot luck if it is open. We popped by a few times until it was open. Try contacting the owner if possible.
