Take the carter at your own risk. St. Martin Charter - By the Cabin Charter Still have never heard anything back from dream yacht. On the comment card i told it like it was and asked for contact back to discuss with someone from the American base but never heard anything. I have followed it up with emails and phone calls and i have never been able to talk with anyone. I am Just going to list the events of the trip. -Booked a lagoon 620 got a Sanya 57 -We had to climb over the side of the boat to board and my wife seriously injured her leg and the crew laughed and couldn't even offer ice for her injury because the ice machine barley worked. --Captain and cook spoke only French. I do not speak French! No one on our boat spoke English Including captain, crew, guests. So just think even pass the salt and pepper at dinner was impossible. -I understand the air conditioning was to run from 8 am to 10pm (or something like that) but the captain refused to run it even when we asked. -We did not have towels for half our tip. We had to air dry because again we couldn't speak French to ask "where are the towels". Day 4 we finally got towels. - No use of the dingy to visit the bars or sights. For example we swam from the boat to the baths ( not a short swim by the way). Captain was totally unwilling to take guests to shore if it interrupted his day. -One reason I chose dream yacht charters was i was told fishing gear was available for use. I asked about fishing MANY times during the trip - i routinely got "no fishing gear" and on the last day the captain brought out the fishing gear and when we caught a fish the captain reeled in the fish dispute me sitting next to the pole for HOURS!!! One of my criteria of picking dream yacht was i got to fish and that didn't happen. Just so you know this was one of my biggest requests and i verified before we booked and the captain was a jerk about the fishing. -when we got back we chose the shuttle service and there was no shuttle. -Oh yeah food was horrible - by the way Bread Jam and yogurt is not an acceptable breakfast for 7 days to an American. Cater to your guests a little and have one or two days of eggs, bacon, sausage, something. - I have never gotten a response back from dream yacht, so for everyone looking to book do some research there are other companies. Dream Yacht in the off chance you do read this. All I ever really wanted was acknowledgement climbing over the side of the boat to board shouldn't have ever happened and no one in the future ever has to. My wife fell directly on the large boat cleat. It looked like she had a black softball under he skin. she couldn't walk for the first two days because it was so panful let alone swim. The fact the captain and chef decided to laugh and not help really pissed us off. Another reason we booked with dream yacht was you had an American Based Brach and figured we could get answers if necessary.

TERRIBLE. THEY ARE A FRAUD! When we arrived to take the Boat at Miami, FL, they told us that the ship was broken. So that we had to go to KEY WEST (a trip of TWO DAYS IF YOU GO BY SHIP) to take the ship, other ship different from the one we had paid for. Now we are requesting a refund and they are refusing. DO NOT EVER MAKE A CHARTER WITH THEM!!

We should have known better when our contracted boat (a 2019 Bali 43) was replaced without notice 1 week before our departure with an older 2015 Lagoon 45 - "Pain Killer", which was in no condition to be chartered. The boat smelled of sewage after months of being at dock due to black water tanks not being emptied; Dinghy engine not working (fixed at dock but delayed departure) and rented stand up paddle boards not delivered on time due to their miscommunication with third party company; Port refrigerator not working (partially fixed at dock but failed again under way); Missing cushions in bow sitting area and those in aft full of cigarette burns; Inability of the boat to connect to shore power that resulted in noisy generator during first night at dock, plus the smell (we stayed at a hotel the last night to avoid repeat); Boat batteries were fried only lasting 1 hour after engine or generator were turned off, resulting in low voltage alarm going off and having to turn on the noisy generator again during the whole week; Starboard fuel tank not full on departure and when returning to base we were required to fill up resulting in $150 overpay. Many more small details of a boat in bad condition. Charter base was under staffed and employees were overwhelmed. We filed a claim form upon returning and we are still waiting to hear from the company. I'm going back to The Moorings or any other company that cares more about their customers

We booked a long term charter with Dream Yacht Charters which we are currently in the middle of. So far it has been a complete nightmare and the rudeness and unhelpful nature of all employees is laughable. Despite the large amount of money we are spending with the company we have lost days and days of our trip having to deal with faults and issues with the boat and are currently unable to leave the port as our boat is not ready. I would never advise anyone renting with this charter company.

There is ZERO AFTER SERVICE ONCE BOOKED! We booked a 2 day charter and were supposed to get the skippers # the day before to go over the schedule and never did. when we met the skipper on the morning of the charter, he informed us he was waiting all day for our details to discuss the route and that it was unacceptable that we were not given his details. Further because it was a short 2 day charter we couldn't do our route and basically spent the first day getting to one place and the second day getting back to the marina! Also we signed a contract to start at 9 am and finish at 12 pm. This contract was not upheld and we had to leave at 12pm [ morning wasted on this short charter] plus we were told we had to return by 10 am to refuel which was not on the contract. Further one shower was broken so we had to share the only working shower with the skipper and all guests even though we spent 30 minutes at the marina checking all to make sure everything worked plus there was confusion about wifi being included on our charter, another 30 minutes wasted on such a short charter. I followed up with this company Dream Yacht Charter via email about my disappointment with the charter and they never even had the decency to respond. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
