Fun ride

Went out with a large group. It was a blast. Saw many birds, crocodile, and cows. The crew was good. I would recommend.

A paradise for bird watchers. The highly trained guide gave us a "scorecard" with 50 species of birds when we entered the boat. He then pointed out 36 species as we gently glided the River. The Roseate Spoonbill, Wood Storks and Scarlet Macaws were big favorites but lots of hawks and herons too. And of course some monster crocs (up... More

There were lots of crocodiles to see both large and small. Willi the guide was an excellent source of information and gave good instructions for spotting wildlife. We saw a large variety of birds and there was a pleasant breeze on the river. Good value for the price.

This river boat tour was great. we spent plenty of time on the river and saw some fantastic flora and fauna. The highlight was a trip up to the shore to see OSAMA! Osama is an 18 foot male crocodile, so named because you never know where he will pop up next. What an amazing creature! If you get a... More

For my self to see crocodiles on this holiday was a wow! For others on the tour to see over 30 different birds made there holiday To see the horses and the cattle near the rivers edge with crocodiles was a concern.

Definitely an interesting and educational time while cruising aboard the boat. Our guide was very informative in helping us identify the various birds and wildlife along the shores of the river. This was a fun time and adventurous too.

We had pre-booked a 3.30 pm birding tour and arrived to find that we were the only people for the tour. We had a 54 seater boat and a good bird guide all to ourselves. The trip down the Tarcoles river was in magnificent scenery and we particularly enjoyed going into the mangroves. The number of birds that we saw... More

It was nice to sit and watch the birdlife, instead of walking through the jungle trying to spot them. Very relaxing, with our guide pointing out Jesus Lizards, crocs and many different birds. We were given a Bird Guide and were able to tick off quite a few. We saw Roseate Spoonbill, which were very unusual, for us anyway.

Our guide was Dixon, and our boat pilot was Jose - both were wonderful, smart and friendly. They pointed out hundreds of birds and crabs, Jesus lizards, and of course crocodiles of all sizes. Be sure to walk on your own before or after the tour to the middle of the bridge where all the cars have parked because chances... More

If you like slowly meandering down the river for a couple of hours, and enjoy viewing and identifying numerous bird species, while looking for wild crocodiles, then this is the tour for you. Our boat captain had twenty years experience, so whenever a new bird was seen, he could from memory immediately identify it by number from the list of... More
