Enjoy Boat Journey & On board food
May 2018 • Couples
National Park is not appropriately marketed.

Unless you are here in the Bird season, the place is mostly a must visit for Boating in Brahamputra.

Nice food is served as per your expressed choice.

All sizes of Boats are available from 2 persons to 30 persons.

Larger boats offer Bed Rooms with attached toilets. A.C. and Geysers are also installed.

Groups for overnight here, can aim for a tailor made enjoyable cruise

Maguri Beel...
Feb 2018 • Friends
Maguri Beel is a large wetland area adjoining the park. Take a boat into the waters early in the morning..it's a beautiful experience. The boatman manoeuvres his way through the water hyacinths and one gets to patches of water lilies to sight a vast variety of birds. Also with nets are the local villagers out to catch fish and shrimp. One can easily spend a couple of hours in this serene place.

Poor visit
Mar 2017 • Couples
We had a reservation for 2 nights on the OM houseboat,in our mind to visit the National Park.We arrived when it was nearly dark, and found an old,,not maintained 'house boat',,one moment we did not know if we had to stay or go back.Horrible!! finaly we decided to stay 1 night, difficult to find other room in the region. The bedroom was just clean enough, for not getting a nightmare. We got food,,on the upperdek,,dirty glassses everywhere, plastic everywhere on the ground, rests of food? The table was dirty. The boys where friendly,,thanks god,it was the only positif thing
The morning after we made a short boat trip, with a smaler boat, saw some river Dolphins
Realy if you look on internet Om houseboat,I think this pictures have been taken 20 years ago.Realy do not stay there

Amazing

I went to Dibru Saikhowa National Park. Dibru Saikhowa National Park is assimilated within an island bound by Brahmaputra and Lohit rivers along the periphery. It is situated 12 km from the town of Tinsukia in Assam, at an altitude of 118 metres above sea level. It is great place to go.

Boat Safari From Om Boat Service
Nov 2017 • Family
River Cruise though Dibru Saikhuwa National Park.
We were extremely fortunate to be a trip with my small family, my wife, my child and me - so we were able to have the entire boat to ourselves which made the whole experience wonderful in Dibru Saikhuwa. It was magical to have the peace of the Dibru river, On our arrival on the boat we were welcomed quietly but enthusiastically and introduced to Day long trip. The Dipak Das, the Om Boat manager and was very efficient. He call the Tour guide David Baruah, who lovingly took care of us. We were offered with Breakfast and Tea.The Guide Mr. Baruah very knowledgeable with water bodies & Naional Park a great sense of humour.

We saw a tremendous variety of birds on the banks of the river – Chakoi Sakuwa, Pani Karuri, Black-necked Stork, White-winged Duck etc. Entire boat Journey towards east and West were amazing. We offered Fresh water river Fish (borolia) Fry right on the boat with Cold drinks and water. When we moved to 4 km apart from Guijan ghat towards north west, we were able to view river dolphins. The boat driver stopped the engine, My little child enjoyed lots. Next, The guide took us to nearby Missing Gaon called Lycka. This village is populated by Missing Tribes. They used to lives by means of Milk Production, fishing and weaving. In return Journey though boat once again we viewed the River Dolphins and Birds. We had our lunch with Local Fish and Duck Curry in the Houseboat Restaurant. On a couple of occasions we watched a few elephants swimming and then being helped up the bank the other side, when we all breathed a sigh of relief. Apart from all the wildlife river trip, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality.
