Great day we visited weather wise. Nice hike up to the hermits cave to which you access the viewing point of the beautiful falls then down through the woods at the opposite side. Beautiful scenery.

We were driving along the South Loch Tay road and after going through Acharn saw signs for the Falls and a circular walk so stopped and went to have a look. When we reached the Hermits Cave and walked through and were confronted by the...More

A nice route to walk, to see some stunning waterfalls, definitely worth a visit. Straight forward signposted walk. Car parking available after passing through the village when travelling from Kenmore.

This is is nice short walk with great views. It is quiet steep but not too long and has interesting 'hermits cave' and viewing platform across the falls.

Passing the Crannog Centre on the right and following the road along about half a mile is the start of the path up to the falls. Parking seemed very scarce here, next to the sign for the falls so if you are fitter than us...More

Parked the car at Achran Village and headed up the well signposted path. (Idiot proof!). Quickly found the Hermit's cave which is quite dark in places. The viewpoint of the falls is amazing and a good path all the way round.

Great walk in a beautiful area of Perthshire. Detailed as an over 2 mile circular route and is a nice leisurely walk with great falls at the turning point of your walk. A must visit for an enjoyable 'short' walk with great views and stunning...More

We walked along from Kenmore to visit the Falls of Acharn, so very glad we did as it was stunning. The walk along is lovely as you are following the Loch with lots of wildlife to spot on the way, whether it was red squirrels,...More

Brilliant little hike up to the caves and falls. We had our grandchild and nephew aged 3 and 4. It is a steep climb however we just kept them amused and they were able to climb to the cave. Once in the caves they had...More

Stunning waterfalls. We found that during our hiking holiday in Highlands. They are "hidden" a little from the path, but worth to see. It was exciting experience. When climbing down to upper fall, pay very close attention to your steps. Stones are slippery, especially when...More
