This ancient bridge is located quite a bit away from major cities but the drive itself is very present and you can see a bit of Cyprus from the usual tourist areas. There are enough parking spaces for about 10 cars if everyone parked sensibly. Plenty of photos opportunity for those keen photographer amount you.

This 15th century Venetian bridge was part of a Jeep Safari tour that my partner and I were on with Stevie's taxis.
The location of the bridge is very pretty and the shelter of the trees in the valley was a welcome break from the hot Cypriot sun. There was an ice cream van at the site when we were there and although not very busy, our guide assured us it would get very popular with tourists later on in the day.
The bridge itself is an arched stone construction with cobble stones leading over the top. It is pretty and in a nice spot, but personally I think it is only worth a short visit. I do appreciate historical sites and I can see the cultural significance of this site, but despite the age it does not strike as a particularly amazing bridge. Definitely worth a stop off, but not worth a specific visit unless on the way to somewhere else.

Tzelefos Bridge (Gefyri tou Tzelefou) is hidden in the deep forest of Paphos, near Agios Nicolaos village. It is not easy to find, but once there you won't believe there is such a bridge in Cyprus. From the Venetian era, a magnificent spot for pictures!! The water of the river rushing under the bridge makes the place magical!!

As with most things this small the story of the Copper miners using the bridge when the torrents of water came down the river is more interesting than the actual bridge itself but its well worth a pit stop for a quick photo very unusual

The Kefalos Medieval Bridge is one of quite a few old bridges scattered around Cyprus.
This bridge happens to be in an excellent preservation state and is located in a beautiful spot.
It is a little tricky to find, but once you make it to Agios Nikolaus there are signs to the bridge.
The bridge itself is in a forested area, in the shade, with a beautiful stream running year round under it.
We were there on a scorching hot day and it was cool and pleasant.
Lovely trip!! Definitely Worthwhile!!
