In touring Molise, this church in the small medieval village of Petrella Tifernina is a must-visit. We were able to drive all the way to the front entrance which was great for one of the passengers with reduced mobility. The stone-built romanesque church has three naves with asymmetric columns and the main portal and two side portals. The bell tower is separate from the church and can be approached from the internal courtyard outside the side portal. Lots of historical details are sculpted above the main portal and within the church.
