By the time we visited Chateau de Bridoire we had seen a number of chateaux. Bridoire was different and had so many personal touches that it stood out against the others. It felt more homely and interesting. Well worth a visit. We loved the skeletons...More

The mysterious woodland trail was fantastic and kept us and the kids engaged for around 2.5 hours. So well thought out and executed - a great activity. Then on to the outside games, which were great and kids of all ages were thoroughly entertained. Plus...More

Lots to see for all ages around the castle and in the grounds. Avoid the supplementary paid visit to the grotto

A great fun time for the family with lots of traditional 'games' and adventures that meant the day flew past. Whilst some areas and games are a little tired, it didn't affect our fun. The chateau was basic but a few fun rooms to explore....More

We went with our 7 & 4 year old kids. The castle has been beautifully restored by the current owners after being in a bad state for over twenty years. There’s plenty to interact with as it’s not a precious kind of place. There are...More

A really lovely family day out. The chateau was recently rescued from extreme dilapidation by the Guyot family, who have created a fascinating and entertaining attraction over the last 6/7 years. The building has been lovingly restored and filled with a whole variety of room...More

This is well worth a visit, especially with kids between 4-12 or so. You’ll easily spend 6+ hours here if you do all 3 sections. There are 3 parts to a full day here: you can do the labyrinth, or the games and castle or...More

A great way to spend a full day with something for all the family. Spent 2 1/2 hours in the labyrinth then most of the rest off the day playing the dozens of traditional period games inside and out. Chateau has been sympathetically restored. Food...More

When I was there the grassy grounds around the castle, where the outside games are, were rather dry and therefor, I would think, not too difficult to negotiate. The castle is a different story.
