We had emailed in advanced to book a tour and tasting. Unfortunately we were running 20 minutes late due to very twisty roads, when we arrived the staff were very rude, saying they did not have time to do a tour and we could do a tasting only. According to the website the opening hours were until 6pm but when we arrived at 4:50pm they seemed to be closing down.
They then proceeded to bring us a lovely cheese/ ham board and some bread with olive oil alongside the wines. We tried white, rose and red. However we had not finished the rose and they were already trying to get us to sample the red and suggested we spat out the rose and move on to the red as it was a ‘quick tasting’. I then asked if it was possible to get another glass and she reluctantly went to get one.
Overall the wine and nibbles were lovely, it was a shame that the staff were so rude and made the experience very unpleasant. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Great place to visit. You need a car to get there but hopefully you are not the one driving. Very friendly staff who look after you well, for €15 you get to taste 2 olive oils, 5 (or was it 6!) wines and get a good Cretian snack. Very good value and you do end up buying more which are a reasonable price. There is no tour as such but it’s a lovely visit that I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the olive oi and wine tasting, with snacks: it was quite something to drink olive oil, not just taste it on bread. Oil there is so smooth and high quality it can be taken from a small cup !
Wines were good too.
Efi then recommended to drive to nearby village and have an ice cream by the 3000 years old olive tree (which still bears fruits!)

What a wonderful surprise to find this place after a visit to Paleochora beach from Chania. Spotted the little sign and looked it up for a later visit, so happy we got back. Great tour and learning experience with a wonderful olive oil and wine tasting, beautiful setting as well. Glad we submitted a reservation form as we got a quick reply asking us to come 30 minutes later to avoid a tourist bus, so accommodating.

We had an amazing experience at this small, family run winery/olive mill.
The olive oil & wine tasting was done alongside some bread, cheese, meat and of course olives.
The wines were described nicely and the pace was good (we didn’t feel rushed at all).
We tried 2 olive oils and then 5 wines (1 white, 1 rose, 2 red and a dessert wine), we also had an extra glass of wine at the end and the host booked a taxi for us.
Would highly recommend, excellent customer service and a lovely experience for any wine lovers!

Very nice tasting of four wines with some small nibbles, one taste of olive oil. The wine is very good, shame we didn’t get a tour of the site, it was just a video after the tasting. Friendly staff and would go again though.

Great winery and olive mill!
We visited Anoskeli as part of an organised tour. We started with a quick tour of the olive oil production facilities - the olive oil is only in production in the winter months (starting in October), but the staff stepped us through the process and showed us all of the equipment they use which was interesting.
We tasted the olive oil and 5 wines as part of our tour - 2 whites, one rose and 2 reds, which were all nice. Shout out to Al (one of our tour party) who bought everyone an extra glass of fortified/dessert wine because he wanted to taste it for the book he was writing!
We also had some snacks which were very nice.

What a wonderful experience we had at this winery!
Joanna took such great care of the four of us. She told us about the oils and the wines in a very personal way and even shared a bit about about herself and life in Crete. This made the afternoon even more memorable.
We felt the value was amazing, too. The tasting included 2 oils, 5 wines, as well as snacks to accompany. Of course the wines and olive oil were so good, we left with quite a number of bottles of both wine and olive oil!
My only complaint is that they don't ship to Canada.
All in all, I highly recommend.

We have visited Anoskeli today and it was the best experience we ever had! Unfortunately we were unable to have full tour due to health and safety (COVID-19) , but they were prepared with videos in tasting terrace. Wines are delicious! Everyone one will find “ the one “ Tsikoudia was one of the best we have tasted in Crete. We would definitely recommend going there! Food is very fresh and delicious most of it is from the owners garden. We absolutely loved it! Thank you again! ♥️

We loved visiting here! We came here as part of a small group tour and we were able to sample several wines as well as their delicious olive oil and some raki. The wine was tasty and paired well with a variety of meats and cheeses they provided. The olive oil was delicious and it was very fun to learn how to taste it properly, especially since we've been cooking with olive oil for decades. The facility is modern and overlooks a really nice vineyard, so it's a picturesque area. Service was very good too and it was a nice stop overall!
