This was one of the places I could get into as I was wearing jeans. The first things you notice is the colour of the beautiful flowers as you enter the courtyard and the strong aromas of basil and jasmine. Very peaceful place could have stayed there for a longer time. Good gift shop too bought some of the best... More

This monastery is built in the middle of the valley. The villages you drive through to reach the monastery are very scenic, peace full. Many people believe the monastery has healing powers. Have visited here several times but personally think spring is best. Always clean and tidy. Monday 1st December was very quiet.

Driving through the villages to reach the monastery is much better the monastery itself. People go there for making wishes. It is a clean and peaceful monastery. But nothing extra ordinary.

The 4th century Holy Monastery of Agia Thekla, is located about 500 meters south of the Mosfiloti village of Larnaca's District. It is built in the middle of a small, verdant valley, in a venue that provides the necessary peace for the monastic community that abides in it. For more information about the history of the Monastery you can find... More
