Nice rustic setting for soaking in hot springs. We paid the camping fee in order to soak at night and in the morning plus it included access to the playa---where we camped for the night. Paul, the owner, was working the office and we got...More

Quiet and awesome views of the Alvord Playa. What more could you ask for in a hot springs soak? I soaked four days in a row and 3 of those days I had the place to myself.

We were greeted by Russ Cook at the office. We paid him $30 for dry camping and the hot pools. Upon finishing the hot soak we returned to our RV and while changing into warmer clothes the camp hosts ,Russ and Jill Cook, knock vigorously...More

My wife and I had a nice chat with the man who owns/runs the springs. Parked my 30 ft. trailer there and he was nice enough to give us power and internet for no extra cost ($25 included everything). He's a bit "rustic" as are...More

I stopped by the Alvord Hot Springs with my teen daughter and didn't like the experience at all. The person working there was drunk (red-faced and smell of alcohol in the office) which my daughter commented on. He was also YELLING at us as we...More

i camped out here with a group of friends on a hot springs tour. The location was very unique: in between the dried lake bed and the mountains :) and soaking on top of metal drums was a new experience although it did make for...More

We stopped here on our way through this area, it was early morning and it was empty. The springs were hot and clean, and we loved it. Another cool spot in the area is Willow Creek (Whitehorse Ranch hot springs). Also we drove down to...More

This place is weird and creepy. Really odd, as well. The soaking "pools" are two cement squares. You sit on metal cans. Changing house is made from rusty corrugated metal. Not my cup of tea.
