Zardkooh Mountains in central Zagros mountain range are located between two rivers of Chaharmahal Bakhtiari, Koohrang and Bazoft. More than 10 peaks with higher than 4000m altitude exist in Zardkooh Mountains and the highest one is Klonchin at 4221m. These mountains have a thread shape and their most important feature is having valleys, passages and glaciers.

Dena Mountain Range is the tallest mountain and the largest fold of large Zagros mountain range and has a ridge length of approximately 90 km and is located between Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Esfahan and Fars provinces.
This beautiful mountain range has 49 peaks above 4000 meters. Dena shines with the largest collection of 4,000-meter peaks in Iran, unmatched in the mountain range of Iran. Dena is a folk mistake, Dena is not a peak but a mountain range. Dena is drawn from the northwest to the southeast, divided into three main courses and a vertical sub-division by three crests, Bijan, West Murgland and Puttek.
