For a modest admission of IDR 15,000,- per person this place offers so much.
We visited on a long weekend, so understandably the place is rather crowded. However there were more than enough parking spaces. We decided drive past the tea plant and park at the back. A short walk from the parking lot, there was a small, rocky stream. The water was cool and clear. The kids absolutely loved it.
From there we took another short walk to the tea plantation. It was absolutely gorgeous. Meandering hills of tea plants with a mountain in the background. Clean air, beautiful sceneries...what more could you want?
Once we're done exploring the tea plantation, we drove further back to picnic area where the kids took horse rides through through the shrubbery (IDR 35,000.-) or ride mini motorcycles. There were also stalls selling food and souvenirs.
Apparently you can have guided tours with three tracks to choose from. But we left it for another time.
Will definitely come back.

I come with my friend to this place looking for best picture to be taken. Honestly if you want take picture with tea fields, please no need to come to this place. Tea fields not really large, you can found out more along the road to Cipanas/Puncak Pass.
Best time to come is in the morning when all the workers start their work, you can take a picture with local but another facilities still closed.

This past week, my wife and I went to Agrowisata Gunung Mas. We enjoyed hiking the hills and walking through the tea fields. We were disappointed, however, to find that the tea factory has been closed for many years.

Gunung Mas Agrotourism offers you quite the full package. There is accommodation, small café, restaurant, and the tea plantation complex itself. The tea plantation offers you the natural runaway which you can walk around freely, pony ride tracks which divided to 2 tracks; 30 minutes for 50 thousand rupiahs and 60 minutes for 100 thousand rupiahs, tea manufacturing tour, and souvenir stalls.
Aside the complete packages one other main advantage of Gunung Mas is it lays precisely before the peak pass of Puncak. So if you able to stay there aside from you have direct access to plantation, it’s easy for you to aside either to Cipanas-Cibodas area or to Bogor-Taman Safari Area.
To enter the complex you will be charged 20 thousand rupiah per person. Other rate and fee are displayed in the photo.

You can have teawalk, visit the old tea factory inside and horse riding around. Not too many good eating place inside, but the factory has small restaurant serving tea and snacks. Prepare proper shoes for little hiking, some tracks could be slippery

They are building new cottages and got more sophisticated parking management. We're only there to buy the tea but overall it looks clean as always :)
