It is not the most convenient or the cheapest trip but the island is beautiful and we enjoyed the 2 hour hike around it. Try to go during low tide when you can cross to the lighthouse island...handful of restaurants and cafes near the ferry dock...

This island is located around Tongyeong area. If you like to do hiking, you can do hiking here while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the island. I also recommend you to come here to see the sunset. It's really worhted to see. To visit this island you just need to take a boat from Geoje Island Jeogu Port and it... More

Somaemul island is one of the 3 islands collectively called Maemul islands. It is connected to the lighthouse island by a waterway that only opens twice a way for people to walk through when the tide is low. We took a boat from Geoje island Jeogu port and it took us about 50minutes to reach Somaemul island. Hiked to the... More

one of the islands further out from Tongyeong. At low tide you can walk over to Little Mamil island, too. Some nice hiking paths to spend time on to enjoy the scenery. Just don't go over a week end or a public holiday. I was pushed around by eager hikers, it felt similar to rush hour Seoul subway and completely... More

You should go to Maemul Islet on a cruise from Port Tongnyeong. There are several trails you can hike there. Also, there is Little Maemul Islet nearby. If you are lucky, the two islets are connected and walk to the Little Maemul Islet. On top of the Little Maemul Islet, there is a light house. The sight of the light... More

A small island that's about a 3-hour boat ride from Tongyeong Ferry Terminal. There are 2 trips to and from the island, that makes a total of 4 trips per day. Quiet and peaceful, and there are different hiking trails to choose from depending on your desired difficulty level. Bring along some drinks and lunch, otherwise you can visit any... More
