This Sky Luge is much better than others in their network countries.

First, one chooses a helmet that fits you. And then takes a Skylift chair all the way uphill to the top ( starting point of Luge circuit).

From there, you ride the Sky Luge downhill all the way to the bottom.

One ticket gives you 3 rides. It was so much fun especially when the weather was chilly.

As usual, your pictures will be taken by cameras along the circuit & they will try to sell you the photos.

There is a souvenir shop at the finish area. Usually the queue is very long even on a weekday but we were lucky.
Somehow, today there were hardly any people.

It’s not far from the cable car riding station. Little bit hard to parking around and workers all speak Korean only. But it was fun to try .

Try this twice with my only 8 years old son. love it so much!! The second ride was quite exhausting for my son so we decided to share ride in the middle of the trip down. The crew was very helpfull in order to explain the way to ride this.

This is a franchise from New Zealand and safe for adults to toddler. Luge using no engine and easy to control.
Many helpful staffs and we are pleased to find most of them can speak English.
Price is quite affordable, better not take a single ride.
It is popular and long queue at ticket counter but not much on the starting point.
First timer of the day must go to a separate line, to get a brief explanation and a stamp on the hand.
Down side, they should provide gloves too because the handles may cause some pain after a while. My 7yo daughter's hand felt hurt after the 2nd round.
As far as I know, this is the first one in the region. They will open 2 more tracks soon.

Compared to Singapore Sentosa’s luge, this Is more challenging and worth the dollars. The hill is higher and takes longer to navigate.

But I’m still put off by having to put on helmets that previous users dump into a big trash bin Like container. And they were sweaty and wet though it was autumn. The queue was Long but I must say they move the queue real fast. I resorted to taking those from a further away bin that has been sitting in the sun, htoping the sun somehow dried and kill the germs... hehehe.

Did not expect rodel option in this city.
There are only Korean how love to do this. 3 times is more fun! That is what they announced. So we did and yes it was more fun. Going up by cable car and going (medium speed) down by rodel. It is sort of kart without electricity. You only need to use the handle well. It is easy and fun!

This is so funny. You go up as if you were in Austria for wintersports. And you come down as if you are Max Verstappen on Silverstone.

We went on a not very busy day, and did not have to wait long que. the track is good, exciting altough shorter than the one in Eden valley. Carts are new generation and much more comfortable. Kids had super fun, even got a bonus ride for free.

I have been to the Luge in Rotorua, NZ multiple times and thus have had the chance to compare the two locations. In the end, two things ruined an otherwise perfect experience for us.

One, the lines can get super long. We never waited longer than 5 minutes to ride the luge in Rotorua. Maybe it was because we went off-season. Who knows. But in my experience, I have never had to wait too long to ride. As a matter of fact, I've never had to wait at all.

The Tongyeong Luge is hugely popular. And the line to the ticketing window on its own is a half hour to 45 minutes. Then there's the line to the lift. That takes another half hour. Once you go up, there is another line to wait for the luge. All in all, it takes well over an hour to go for one ride. A repeat ride will take a half hour to 45 minutes. Having experienced the luge in NZ, though the track is newer and the facilities are great, I have to say the long wait times are a real bummer.

Secondly, though the younger patrons wait patiently and politely in line, you will frequently get older people trying to cut in line. We had an older lady cut the line to the lift by jumping in front of two little kids. She held the place in line until her son and grandson finished getting their tickets and joined her in the queue. When confronted she got real angry and said she did nothing wrong.

Another lady did the exact same thing but was called out by the staff. She repeatedly refused to join the line from the back. In the end, the staff refused to service her unless she went to the back of the line.

As mentioned, the wait times are long, and waiting is not fun for anyone. And clearly some people try to cut the line to save a minute or two. Apart from these rude people the experience was satisfactory.
