When they say it is hidden, it really is hidden. The path to the castle isn't signposted anywhere. It is a proper hike and you need to be able bodied. The view is amazing and the castle is still largely intact. The old village is...More

A twisty road leads to the foot of the ruins amidst a pine forest. Worth scanning the skies for Long-legged Buzzards and Bonelli's Eagle. The woods are the habitat of Serinss. Bird watchers can take the rough track above the tree line for fabulous views...More

Definitely worth a visit! As other have said you do need suitable footwear as some of the tracks are a bit precarious especially going up to the castle area. The little cafe is also worth a stop off.

A bit steep walk but the view is amazing. Remember to take good shoes. No flip-flops or soft shoes if you want to survive the rocks :) It is a bit windy there, so long sleeves might be helpful. Do not take little kids there!
