What a wonderful trip! A BIG THANK YOU TO AJ KENYA SAFARIS!!! This was a lifetime experience. As you know, initially, I was hesitant due to my animals’ phobia, but your great team made it happen. How I’d have missed this life-changing experience.
Day 1: We were picked from Nairobi at 6 am as Polycap, our tour guide of the safari hand promised. After a warm greeting, we were welcomed to our vehicle en route to Naivasha Sanctuary farm and Crescent Island. We had the best time enjoying horse rides among wildlife at the Sanctuary Farm. Crescent Island was equally good as we took a boat ride at Lake Naivasha and then had a walking safari among wild animals. It was a great drive with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where we took photos of the escarpment.
Day 2: We had a fantastic time at hell’s gate admiring the two towers, water-gouged gorges, rocky towers and volcanos. The best part of this adventure was bike riding. Later, we left for Lake Nakuru, and it was pretty fulfilling to see the flamingos. The lake also had a lot on offer including zebras, buffalos, rhinos, giraffes, and dozens of birds.
Day3: What a team that knows how to keep time. On day 3, we were up by 6:00 am for a morning game drive. At least we managed to see the animals that we had not seen the previous day.
At 10 am, we were out of the park heading to Masai Mara. We had a stopover at Narok town for lunch and then continued with the journey, which took us close to six hours.
Day4: On this day, we had a Game drive at Masai Mara. We saw the BIG 5, and we were blessed to see the wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River. Our hearts, mind and eyes were filled with an abundance of wildlife.
Day 5: This was our last day, and we had to maximize it. Morning hours we had a game drive, and later we visited Masai village, where we had a wonderful experience of the Masai culture. I did not get enough of the five days and I plan on heading to Masai Mara with AjKenyaSafari again.
