We sailed into this beautiful bay on our yacht and stumbled on this amazing restaurant. This is the best Greek restaurant Ever!

This is a really pretty beach, small stones, crystal clear blue waters and stunning hills and olive groves surrounding it. It's very Greek - little bit scruffy but masses of charm! The only concession which looked smart was the hotels (across from main car park) but all the sunbeds said reserved (which even by the afternoon were still not being used!). So we went to Alex's bar....... having read the reviews I was a bit wary. But it was great!! Maybe the others went on a bad day, but we had no issues. The lady was friendly, happy for us to go anywhere. We paid 8€ for beds & umbrella. I saw her cleaning the beds down and spraying after people had left. Shower was good, toilets clean and we had drinks and lunch in the bar - very tasty generous chicken ceasar salad and hot fresh chips. The young guy who served us was great, friendly chatty. We would definitely go back.
The beach wasn't busy at all (it was a Sunday and weather forecast wasn't great so that could be why it was quiet? And the weather turned out to be beautiful!). . Water was clean and very clear, there are some rocks to swim out to and the cove has rocks all around for snorkeling. You can see other islands from the beach (poss Corfu and def one of the paxos's!).
20min easy drive from Parga - last bit down to beach is steep windy and narrow - luckily we didn't meet cars going down or up!

This was our favorite beach in Parga. Must go there. You can reach it by car. Parking is public and free. There are few restaurants. No words to describe - Look the photos.

I can only join all the people that comment here. A wonderfull beach - for relaxing , for the good water , for snorkelling , for everything. Yes you have to drive 10-15 minutes down the hill to reach it but nothing scary and well paved road.
WATCH OUT - 300-400 metres before the beach you have a small crossroad left or right ( left is Alex's bar , right is a greek taverna). From this decision now depends if you will have a good time on the beach , or will most probably get in a confrontation. What I mean - when you reach the beach , to use the parking you have to be client of one of the bars which is ok , and of course you have extra 8-10 euros for the set of sunbeds. Well , we did the mistake and chose Alex's bar. We were early and at the begging all was ok - smiling stuff , moderate service etc. BUT when it got 10i30 - 11h the first bigger groups of tourists arrived and it all started - every 10 minutes someone was shouting (most in Greek so we werent sure what is happening , because I dont undestand the language). What was going on - THE PEASENTS WHO RUN THE PLACE HAD TO ARGUE WITH EVERY SECOND CUSTOMER OF THEIRS FOR SOMETHING. ( Dont move the sunbeds , Dont go to eat at the taverna next to them , Dont do this , Dont do that) . You can read all the stories below and also at Alex's Bar page. JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO TO THE TAVERNA (PROBABLY NOT THE BEST SERVICE EITHER) BUT AT LEAST NO SHOUTING AND NO AGRESSION. Be Clever , Be Safe!

There are many beautiful beaches in and around Parga, Sarakiniko is the one that was the most difficult to reach (by car). It is not that special compared to the others. You can go by bat, or by car. I went by car. It is a one way road that is not build for cars going down and going up hill at the same time. So when it is crowded you will have a problem, not mentioning the lack of parking place. It is a small bay, so it becomes overcrowded quickly. My advice is to skip this place. Go elsewhere where you have more space.

But if you intend to go, I can tell you that at Alex' bar they have first class COVIDIOTS working. They have the most unfriendly, rude, aggressive way of approach I have ever seen in Greece. I 'm half Greek and speak the language. I saw them argue with a couple that just came in. Straight after the couple let their towel on one bed and paid, a spot came free at he first row. They decided to move to this better spot. From this point the staff came in shouting, screaming in Greek. The couple didn't understand and said they were willing to pay extra if there was a difference in price and asked for what caused the huge problem. They simply asked for an explanation. Instead of telling that the policy was that due to Corona once you have chosen a sunbed one is not allowed to change bed anymore, before the couple even could react, there were already 3 to 4 persons in front of them, demanding them to leave, threatening them with a physical fight, even telling them to await them up hill to beat them up as there is only one road. Shouting close to this couple in the face without masks, whilst giving Corona as the excuse to react like that?...What a (COV)IDIOTS!

It made me decide to leave immediately. These people do not care about you. Only thing they want is your money. And being at this spot you can not go anywhere, they know that and surely they now how to threaten you with it.

This aggressive woman as mentioned below, together with probably husband and son, they must be the same. I was there early September 2020.

We have been coming to Parga for many years and love all the beaches. Sarakiniko is a beautiful beach, but has the most horrible, racist, aggressive woman collecting money for the sun beds. On one occasion, she complained to us about the Albanians and Romanians on the beach. Another time we witnessed her shouting at a young girl who was getting her photo taken on the beach as the mother dared to sit on the sunbed that she had not paid for. It is a shame as we used to love visiting there for lunch, but now we would spend it on Valtos.

It was the best beach for us, small and not so crowded in September 2019. We rent sun beds from Anemolia Suites and we had great service and food. They made our day so even if it wasn't near our hotel in the last day we went again to them. So if you want peace, great food and services, from all my heart I recommend the beach in front of Anemolia.

Had already visited this beach solo by boat the previous week but came by car with friend second time. Steep descent to it and rather scary hair pin bends ( quite a bit of nervous laughter!) but worth it. Small and sheltered beach with sunbeds, but we opted for the bed free area near the boat jetty. It's slightly more sandy and although there's a small dip near the sea's edge, it's easy to get into the water and a gradual drop once in, which gave a very pleasant swim. There's plenty of room on the beach area generally for everyone and has the added advantage of Resalto's Taverna just behind. ( See separate review). The carpark for the beach is very small and was full so we parked in the taverna carpark next-door to Resalto's- ok if you buy a drink ( we had 2 small beers) or get their sunbeds. As in all the beaches in the area I visited, the wind gets up in the middle of the afternoon, so the sea gets a bit choppier. This is more noticeable if you're on the taxi boat back (leaves at 5pm, costs 11 Euro return from Parga), especially the old wooden one. Not helped if the elderly "captain" decides to head out sideways, parallel to the waves!! All in all would recommend. My 2nd choice to Neri beach near Sivota.

Nice but small beach very crowded. Sum beads are very close so you dont have privacy. The wather is very clean. Two sun beds and umbrela 10 euro. Drinks and snacks with similar prices like other beaches around. Good place to visite but very small parking. Very big problem is where to park your car becouse the space is high uphill and narrow for two cars to cross
