Amazing place with the right optics. Was an amazing experience seeing all the stars and galaxies. It's a place with minimal light and air pollution, making it the ideal spot for an observatory. It has got, supposedly, the best part of the sky for observation.

it is difficult to steep walk till the observatory.. but yes it is worth struggling. there is no live show as this is just an observatory. Nut the drive was good load of good views.

This is located at Hanle, we saw the observatory and the mechanism of transferring all data to Bangalore research center. From this height the view was amazing, it was soo wide and awesome.

There is a difficult road from Pangong lake to Hanle. Takes four to five hours drive.
