So many pengüins!

It was great to find so many penguins in this beautiful Natural Reserve. It was a hot day and the animals were pretty nice. It's a romantic and familiar place.

Well worth the long drive from Puerto Madryn. The scenery around Punta Tombo is breathtaking but the penguins will really capture your attention. I was there in early November and there were not as many penguins as in some of the photos I've seen, but it was still a great adventure.

You need to go, even if you already saw penguins. Because here they are so many! is amazing! you see penguins everywhere, and they come next to you..is really something to see. The spot is very beautiful too. Is far from anywhere so..better rent a car with nice people (as i did!) or it will be a long way! Part... More

No doubt, this is a MUST SEE attraction when in the Trelew/Chubut/Patagonia Area. This Natyral Park with thousands and thousands of penguins. The 3 KM walking trail is a real experience with penguins having priority over pedestrians when crossing the walking trail.

A two hour trip from Trelew brings you to this large colony with thousands of Magellanic penguins. It is loud and it smells, but it is amazing to see the penguins so near. One even walked over my shoe.

This place is utterly wonderful. Never been so close up with so many penguins. The guys are clearly in their own habitat and provide many a great photo op. It's also just relaxing to watch them wandering around and setting up their burrows, as well as coming out of the sea and walking to the area. All we needed was... More

If you time your visit properly, you'll get to see hundreds of thousands of penguins. I visited Punta Tombo twice, because I stayed in Madryn for a whole month. It was raining a lot in the first time and couldn't really enjoy the visit. It was late September, and the male penguins were already there, but female penguins were still... More

Nice experience to drive around and see villages and above all great wildlife like pinguins, vicunas and sea lions. Not to be missed when in this part of Argentina, as also Mendoza is very nice but mainly for its wineyards. Puerto Madryn itself is not spectaculair but nice enough as base.
