You can almost set your watch by the eruptions every 5-10 minutes. The geysir is just a short walk from the main road. It is best to stand back and determine which way the wind is blowing and where to stand.
Yet another stop off, The Geysir will erupt every 5 mins or so some will be big some not so big but still worth a look.
Strong smell of sulphur as you would expect but it's not an issue and it's just nature
