- Christine HUckfield, United Kingdom1 contributionIf you like good wines you must visitIt was a really interesting and informative tour. The guide told lots of details on producing the grapes to crushing and bottling. The wine tasting was excellent and paired with some exceptional local cheeses. Well worth a visit.Visited December 2022Written December 18, 2022
- PaulBrighton, United Kingdom15 contributionsHighly recommended. We received a tour with wine and cheese tasting as a Xmas gift from friends. It was a fab afternoon all round. Our guide was informative and friendly and it was interesting to learn how the wine and sparkling is produced. The wine tasting was excellent. And we purchased several bottles to bring home with us. Defo worth a visit. Highly recommended.Visited January 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 16, 2023
- Craig&LivSurrey, United Kingdom142 contributionsWonderful! We had a tour with Debbie who was knowledgeable and interesting. She taught us lots! The wine is delicious and the customer service at this small winery is outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit! They also do events, which i would only imagine being amazing. Beautiful views, even in February! Will definitely return in the spring/summer months.Visited February 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten February 11, 2023
- Martin W1 contributionLovely afternoonLovely way to spend an afternoon, interesting and informative. Our guide, Margaret, was charming, tasting samples were generous and the wines are great! We couldn't resist stocking up - slightly disappointed there was no bulk discount, but overall a great experience.Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 24, 2023
- Peter SHaywards Heath, United Kingdom38 contributionsFantastic wine and cheese tasting!A fabulous visit to a superb local winery! As we were the only guests on the wine and cheese tasting (booked for my birthday present from last year), the excellent Keith showed us round the vineyard, explaining the history of the place and the different grapes and how the growing and picking processes work all year round. After a look at the wine pressing and processing areas, we then had an amazing tasting session of wonderful whites and amazing sparkling wines, matched with different cheeses, and we even tried the new Merlot which was first class! Time was no issue and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. A must do if you love wine and are in the area!Visited April 2023Written April 28, 2023

The tour was intimate (just five of us plus the guide) and really informative - a good mix of history and stories about the current vineyard. Good selection of wines to try at the end (and very generous measures!). Our favourites were the white sparklings)Visited May 2023Written May 30, 2023
- Jayshree3 contributionsWine and Cheese tasting vineyard tourHas the almost amazing day, tour of the vineyard with wine tasting and cheese pairing. EvOur tour guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I have done tours to other vineyards and this was one of the best. The setting is beautiful and you are surrounded by rolling countryside, It’s a relatively small vineyard but has lots to offer. Great day out. I would highly recommend it. As a tip, I think they might benefit from a small cafe serving basic food such as sandwiches and snacks as I would love to have eaten there in such lovely surrounding.Visited June 2023Traveled with friendsWritten June 26, 2023
- BBHighwycombe17 contributionsIdyllic setting and delicious wineHad such a lovely morning here on our way home from Brighton. Did a wine tasting sat in the glorious grounds with some informative help from the lovely person in charge that day. Went for a beautiful walk with our kids in their woods and came away with 3 sensational bottles of wine. Drinking the Ashdown Blend today reminded me to review our lovely time there!Visited May 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 2, 2023
- SomeoneSomewhereCrowborough, United Kingdom3 contributionsGreat real experience.A relaxed, friendly, knowleadgable tour guide made this a great experience. And the wine is full of character (and across a range of taste experiences). All of it is nice, most wine lovers should find something to enjoy in most (if not all) of the wines being tasted.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 13, 2023

Lovely way to spend a few hours. The vineyard was kind enough to support a local charity and I was the recipient of 4 free places on the tour and tasting session. The grounds were picturesque and after a tour of the vines and equipment we were seated under a marquee for the tasting. For those wanting a COVID-safe trip the outdoor nature of the tasting is a plus.
Our guide (poss Jenny) was knowledgable about the history of the vineyard, the grapes, the process and the reception of each wine. She was friendly and made everyone feel welcome.
We tried fairly good sized tasting glasses, one still white followed by a rose, sparkling rose, a cuvée and the blanc de Blancs. Jenny also asked if we wanted to try a sparkling red as we had been discussing this earlier in the tour which was a nice touch. The wines were excellent!
All in all it was a really enjoyable trip and I felt impressed with our guide as she was young but super professional and aware of the burgeoning industry.

We visited on 7th Feb and had a wonderful time with my family, there were 14 of us including 4 kids who thoroughly enjoyed themselves too.
We got very lucky with the weather as it was a beautiful sunny day, the wonderful Lee gave us a very informative tour of the vineyard, she was then a wonderful fun host for our wine tasting. I would highly recommend visiting and I will definitely come back and see the vineyard during a different season too, a beautiful place with some incredible wine, what’s not to love!

We had an excellent visit for a Wine and Cheese Tour and Tasting. Sally was our guide and was outstandingly good- friendly and extremely knowledgeable and informative. we sense she adapts the tour to the needs and interests of her guests. The wine (and cheese) was exquisite and it was a joy that it was a tasting session without the usual pressure to buy. That said the wine did its job- and we left with a case we purchased! We would highly recommend this place both for the tour and amazingly you can bring a picnic and just wander around their designated paths- with no charge. We will definitely be returning throughout the year.
Once again our thanks to Sally who was absolutely brilliant at her job.

We went as a family group on a chilly, showery morning in November and received a warm welcome from Howard, who proved a relaxed, congenial and knowledgeable host. The vineyard tour was a bit constrained by the weather but was interesting and informative. We were joined by one other person, whose review, I think, precedes this one. He proved engaging, very knowledgeable, and contributed very positively to the occasion. The range of wines they make is extraordinary, and the quality of those we tasted was excellent. The only thing I missed was a tasting sheet as a reminder of the wines tasted.
It was a top flight birthday gift from my daughter who lives locally and I certainly hope to be back again before too long. As everyone else seems to say, highly recommended - if you're in the area, don't miss out!

Tranquil and rural location, exceptional wines and cheeses and the guide was both highly knowledgeable and passionate about English wine and the Bluebell Vineyard.
We left with a couple of Blanc de Blanc's.
I would recommend a visit.

Absolutely perfect experience - value for money for a wine tasting was fabulous and unlike some wine tastings where you're told what you're tasting it was much more of a conversation about the wines and the years and the experience. Can't recommend highly enough. A wander around the grounds felt very personal and special too.

We felt like we had stepped out of our car straight into France, with beautiful surroundings and glorious sunshine, which was a bonus. The wine and cheese tasting was heaven. Our group really enjoyed all of them, even though 2 aren’t usually over keen on white wine or Rosé. The staff were very warm, welcoming and informative. The tour was really interesting, we just wish we had been able to stay longer so we could explore the vineyard further after our session but had to leave as had booked a table in a restaurant nearby. Look forward to visiting again.

A well described tour of the vineyard and winery, with an excellent tasting of various wines at the end. This was finished off by a trip to the shop and a purchase of a couple of bottles of the type enjoyed in the wine tasting, the weather was kind so a good afternoon was spent here. Would recommend to anyone with an interest in wine and the production process, to achieve a good bottle of wine.

Received a gift from family for my wife and I for a vineyard tour, wine tasting and lunch at a nearby pub. Thoroughly enjoyed and well recommended either as an experience or as a gift for someone.
We’ve done a few tours before, so we had something to compare with. We liked the thorough explanation given by the guide from the history of the land before the vineyard, through the planting and lifecycle of the vines, and each stage of wine production. Not too much walking, as the main site is quite compact. The friendly nature of the people made it a really good insight into the wine production business. The five wines sampled were excellent, and we purchased a couple of bottles in the shop to enjoy at home.
Two course lunch was provided in a local pub, The Crown, with the voucher. Excellent gastropub food and friendly service. Also thoroughly recommended.
