I have visited this cathedral once with a guide and since then I take other people there when visiting Chambery. The Trompe L'oeil paintings are astonishing: unless somebody points it out to you, you won't realize that those are paintings.
Although this is a rather small cathedral we love this place and already visited it several times. The "trompe l'œil " Italian style decoration is unique .
You will be surprised, it takes a while before your brain understands!
