Checking in is simple and inexpensive in an area that has many higher price hotels. Beware, the elevator is pretty small, two people and two sets of carry on, that's it. But the rooms are very clean and the efficiency shower and sink/toilet area is fine and the bed was very comfortable. Included is a simple but very good breakfast, maybe not ham/sausage & eggs but very nice choices and the croissants/baguettes are Perfect!! Pretty neat coffee machine, pick what you want and in a few seconds your cup is full. But, what's really great about the hotel too is that it's right down town. Great shops to visit after seeing the beautiful countryside of Chambery!! Look it up and see all the great places to drive to, all within an hour to hour and half...after seeing Chambery.
