Would you like a ride to the beginning of hiking paths to the mountains or would you prefer to discover the beauties of the Bohinj Valley? If you have not experienced our services, do call us. Our fleet includes two Renault traffic vehicles for up to 8 people. Our vehicles are clean and tidy, we are kind and we speak Slovene and English. All our passengers are insured accidentally

I took the taxi from Ljubljana airport to Bohinj area on friday morning. I reserved it in advance via e-mail and always got quick replies on my questions. I didn't know exactly how long it would take to pick up my suitcase (not long, it turned out), but after my arrival the taxi driver was already waiting for me with a name tag, so everything went very smoothly. The drive was very quick and convenient and on the way there I was told many things about the environment as well by a friendly and enthusiastic driver. Pricewise also very reasonable taking into account the distance driven.

Bohinj is fantastic place. Since i did a summer visit, I really enjoyed the nature around the lake - it's around 15km on foot around the lake, but it's very adventurous with tiny little places where you can rest or take a swim. About the Vogel cable car - i think it is too expensive for a single cabin that goes every half an hour - return ticket was 24€, with some ski lift on the included (but nowhere was written that it closes at 4pm). There is not much to see on the top since it is a ski center, but the view from the top is just brilliant.

We used Taxi Bohinj to transfer from Kranjska Gora to the Bohinj area, for a local transfer to the start of our walk and then a transfer to Ljubljana. We booked the transfers by email before we left the UK, so we were slightly nervous about whether the taxis would actually turn up on the day! We needn't have worried as all the transfers ran extremely smoothly. The business is owned and run by Andrej Smukavec and he was both friendly and accommodating. His prices were competitive and his service reliable.

Tried to get a taxi for the 6 pers family but as it was not far enough, they changed from willing to be busy.

I apologize if you had a bad experience with Taxi Bohinj. Taxi Bohinj is a small company, I am self-employed. Unfortunately, I don't have drivers available in the winter due to lack of work. I try hard to do my best, but sometimes I just don't succeed. It's hard to be in two places at the same time. Thank you for your understanding,

She picked us up from the train station and took us to our apartment at the far end of the lake.
Except she also a) advised us that the shops were closed tomorrow so went via a shop and waited for us b) took us on a detour to show us the bus stop we would need for our ongoing journey c) pointed out where we could rent a boat, take a cable car, and walk to the waterfall.
Absolutely wonderful woman who completely went above and beyond. Best €20 we’ve spent in a while!
