One loading/un loading spot, and there are 2 directions from there South and North. Most people have lunch on board, which give you both directions. Lunch was surprisingly good. The south part is a bit more interesting than the north. Most of both routes you can see by walking the "energy trail". Payment is at the end of lunch before disembarkation. Staff do a good job of the food. Toilets on board. Captain does his talk in 3 languages. Plenty of time of photos at the wheel.

We enjoyed a lot the lake, the view is very nice. We also had lunch and we had a big portion of tasty food, try the trout😉 The captain is great. Good program if you visit the lake.

We went on the boat for lunch so we only payed one ride and got two, we visited the north and the south side of the lake. The captain was very entertaining, he invited us to the wheel to take pictures and told many legends and stories on the way. The meal was very good and the waitress very polite and nice.
Would highly recommend for families with children and couples!

The Soča valley is timeless. When you come to visit it don't hurry and take time to make a round trip with the lake ship Ladja Lucija.

It was very good decision to go to the boat cruise with
the tourist paddle wheeler “Lucija”.The Lucija is 30 m long and 4 m wide. Its two decks are separated by the wheel room, kitchen, and washrooms. On the boat they offer meals, snacks and drinks, and many a tall tale from its captain. The paddle wheeler takes us from its dock at Most na Soči south along the river Soča to the accumulation lake and the dam at Doblar and north to the confluence with the Tolminka. We enjoyed the wild life and the wonders of travel on the Soča. During the excursion, children are invited to take the wheel, wear the captain’s cap, and some where at mid-point the captain stops the Lucija and tells the legend of the creation of the lake, including a princess, a cave, a dragon and an almost happy ending. It was funny and amazing 2 hours spent on boat.
There is an excursion south and one north . Travel time is one hour, but if you buy lunch both the north and south excursions are included in the price of one ticket. And I can say that lunch was very good and we were very satisfied. I recommend to buy lunch and enjoy 2 hours on emerald water.

This is a very gentle little trip up and down the Soci river, up to the Dam, and then down to the point where the Tolminka joins the Soci, all seats are under cover and at tables. The captain is very gregarious, and gets the 'ladies' and kids up for a picture with him at the wheel. He also tells a little story, and due to the mix of passengers onboard, had to do the story in German, Italian and then english, which was impressive
You can choose to eat as well, and the food was ok, but not wow amazing
We had a 12 and 14 year old and they got bored, but then it is just a gentle river trip, and if that's what you want it delivers.
The scenery is amazing

Buon pomeriggio, nel caso di una sola tratta consiglia quella a sud o quella a nord?
Grazie
Written May 8, 2017
