Very beautifull place for relaxing, watch clear blue river water, watch beautifull nature - nice wild flowers. There is not so much walking, path is very good maniged and very save. It will take you about 2 to 3 hours relaxing walking.

This place is BEAUTIFUL! But beware, this water will memorize you! The water is cold, we came in early June and it was very refreshing! We are a family of 4, with our youngest being 4 and we had no issues with the hike!

The tolmin gorge is no big Canyon - as far as the visit is concerned, but it is worth the visit. The beautiful setting with the turquoise water flowing through the canyon and the easy access make it a good location for a short trip....More

A fabulous photo opportunity with some awesome views. Please wear decent walking shoes and probably not suitable for OAP's or young children. ( Though my husband is 71 and he managed it no problem). Cheap to get in. We came by car and the sign...More

Beautiful nature, worth the visit. The surface is slippery so bring suitable shoes. It is pretty cold in the gorge, so it is perfect to visit on a hot summer day.

Although young children are not advised, we don't like to miss out so ventured for our day with our 3yr old. The paths are well maintained, admittedly needed a tight hand hold at all times, as steep drops with post and rail fencing, some slippery...More

Went after a morning of rafting. Rafting was more fun. The hike was beautiful but you never really get close to the water more than two times. It is still worth seeing as the water is absolutely gorgeous from the path! The cave is cool,...More

It's strenuous in bits, not for kids, the elderly or unfit. Very nice ticket person told us everything. Took us an hour. Some good interesting view points.

Not really swim, more dip your feet in and cool off. We went to about knee high in the water and we were freezing. The water is rushing and there is a lot of rocks, so its not really a place to swim.

In Tolmin gorge, there are many steps and they are quite steep. So I am afraid that it is not recommended. However, Postojna Caves has a train to get to the visit site and the paths are wide and I don't remember any steps... More
