Nice place to visit as it is pure nature, rocks on the beach and historical monument, part of the European Cemetery Road. Dedicated to the victims of sea catastrophes. The biggest one in 1890 with 172 British vÃctimas just in front of this coast.

On 8th November 1890, the Serpent, a British battleship that had departed two days before from Plymouth heading to Sierra Leone foundered on this treacherous coast with the well-deserved name of Costa da Morte (Death Coast) with the loss of all but three of the crew. The priest of Xaviña mobilized local residents to bury the 172 dead here in what became known as the English Cemetery. In the inner enclosure are the remains of the captain and officers and in the outer enclosure are the remains of the sailors.
The English Cemetery is part of the Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe, recognized as a European Cultural Route.
Great views of Monte Branco, the highest climbing dune in Galicia, and at its base the largest reserve of caramiñas, a protected plant giving its name to the municipality of Camariñas.
Poignant and scenic stop on a tour of the Costa da Morte.

Very off the beaten path. Sure the views are great, but that's not what makes it special. There is something in this place you can't quite put your finger on it... like it's a little known secret very few people know. I loved this, and definitely recommend it! One of the highlights of Camariñas

The many, many piles of stones were very interesting to see and walk among, but at the same time eery and weird.

Look no further than the ocean and the primary granite. The countryside is sober, blends into the landscape, beautiful and terrible. A modest burial and some votive plaque honors and evokes English sailors and, by extension, all the people of the sea... Next to Cape Vilano is the best synthesis of A Costa da Morte. Essential for sensitive people.

Hola. Es un camino y está bastante roto, hay que ir muy despacio, pero se puede pasar. Las vistas son magnificas.
