We thoroughly enjoyed our two hour plus time watching the humpback whales of Hawaii. The Pacific Whale Watch Foundation has been a significant force in leading efforts to provide for the survival of these wonderful creatures. The number of whales had been decreasing for many decades. Thanks to groups such as PWF, the numbers are rising. Going out with the... More

We have done whale watch boat rides for the last 3 visits to Hawaii and this one was the worst. The boat is dirty and poorly kept, the staff seemed unenthusiastic, and the boat just went straight out and stopped. We saw one whale breach. Then just sat for almost an hour. Went a few hundred feet to see some... More

We liked this so much last trip that we booked well in advance to make sure we could get tickets. Test your sea legs, dancing to Reggae by Marty Dread while sipping cocktails and, yes if you like, watching the whales at sunset. Great fun no matter where you are in the boat. Food is served buffet style and is... More

Get your butt out of bed early and go on the sunrise whale watch tour out of Maalaea Harbor! This tour was one of the best values for any large group tour I've ever been on. First off, mornings are typically calmer water, the lighting is FANTASTIC for taking photos of whales, and on our tour, the boat that has... More

Great skipper and really great info about the whales. Got plenty of awesome sightings! They also offer food and drinks for purchase (including alcohol). Get there early so you get a good spot on the boat!

Took the zodiac boat whale watching tour. Knowledge captain & mate. Everyone had a great view of the action. We had two whales at the same time swimming under the boat. We were able to take amazing pictures.Boat had plenty of power so we were able to get from one place to another in a hurry. This was the highlight... More

Well you can see the whales from the beach but so much better to see them from a boat. This is always our go to if we want to do whale watching. Very educational and you always see whales. The staff know their stuff, they are all very well educated and eager to share information on the whales. One of... More

We went on the early morning whale watch and enjoyed it so much that a week later we booked the dolphin snorkel trip. Had a great time on both trips. Great staff. Fun captains. Knowledgeable naturalists. And a very tasty lunch. Gosh I could go on and on. Will definitely go out with them again.

This is their small snorkel trip that goes out of the Ma'alaea harbor which takes 34 people. It leaves at 7:30 in the morning and lasts about 6 hours. You go to two snorkel sights, the molikini crater and one other spot, usually one where you might see a turtle. This trip includes a light breakfast, plus quite a nice... More
