We were in Maui celebrating a wedding and rented this charter to go whale watching with close family and friends. Captain CJ made sure he tailored the day for exactly what we wanted, to see whales. We actually saw a bunch of whales thanks to Captain CJ who made it his mission for us to see these amazing animals. From the second we stepped on board to the amazing crew made sure we always had what we wanted whether it was a drink refill, food or just an exceptional experience. Nate was great and was so attentive to everyone on the charter, which was not easy with our large group. I highly recommend to the comfort of the boat but the amazing Captain and Crew made this an exceptional experience we will never forget!

We had a blast! Weather was perfect. We lucked out and saw two species of dolphins, bottle nose and spinners. Swam with turtles and saw a couple of mama whales and their babies. Food was food and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend a tour on the Leilani. Thanks for a great day!

We took our 2 teenagers ages 13 and 16 on this trip. It was fun and the captain and crew were kind and professional. They were fun and laid-back yet very safety conscious. They worked hard to make sure everybody had fun and sunblock and food. We went to Turtle town first to avoid the crowds which was a smart decision. I highly recommend them.

The crew was entertaining, nice and responsible. The breakfast was ok, just had some croissants, muffins and coffee - we brought food with us. They tried to upsell everyone with wet-suit shirts ($10) or they have sunscreen that isn't the most waterproof but is good for the ocean. I should have brought a rashguard since my back got burnt while in the ocean. The water wasn't cold but would have been nice to have coverage on my back. That was honestly the worst part - and it wasn't bad at all. It was a great cruise, the captain was very entertaining, they made sure everyone felt safe and had a good time. Lunch was great, big pork sandwiches or hotdogs with some carrots on the side. They also had amazing cookies on the ride home and the best mai tai on the island. Saw Turtles at turtle town and molokini crater was more fish and a cooler reef.

Great experience. This was my first trip to Hawaii, and of course I wanted to experience all Maui has to offer. We left early. Beware - parking at the marina can be difficult. We did not bring a credit card and the parking kiosk only took credit cards, or small cash bills! The number listed on the signs to pay over the phone did not work either. So get there early and bring a credit card - parking is quite limited and there can be several boats leaving at the same time. The Day was gorgeous - we went to Turtle Town first and were the only ones there while there were 25 boats headed to Molokini. We sailed on the Leilani. When we got to Molokini all the other boats were leaving. So in both spots we had the snorkeling to ourselves pretty much. THis meant the water wasn't all churned up and it was easy to swim and see all the reefs and fish. The Boat crew were great - fitting us with gear, providing a filling/tasty lunch. The boat itself was very comfortable with lots of available seating both above in the sun or in the cabin. Rest room was clean and easy to use. Lots of drinks available as well. The tour was worth the price, and we got all that was promised from it. Don't worry if you don't have a swim shirt, they had wet suits available as well as lots of sunscreen.
