This was once the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. It’s a good place for hiking and birding. The hill also has temples dating back to the Chola period. It gets extremely crowded on weekends. The hills offer great views of the surroundings, though.

One of the most wonderful places you can visit around North Bangalore withing a couple of hours. It's calm and soothing and has a sense of completeness to it. We went there chasing sunrise, but fate had other plans and all we got was fog and rain. But, that didn't diminish the amount and the kind of fun we had.... More

This is a bit too overly hyped place for someone like me who is from North India. Just the view of the Bangalore City from the top is the only attraction, apart from that I don't think one should go there. Also, spending INR 100/- just for the car parking and entrance fee, to me seemed a bit too costly... More

The perfect time to be up at Nandi Hills is sunrise. However, there are a few challenges: 1. They open at 06:00 to buy tickets ... so for sunrise to be after that (calculate +15 minutes walking), you need to be there in winter ... which is when it is foggy many times 2. So you need to be there... More

A beautiful hill station down south. Gets heavy crowd in weekends and long weekends and that describes the popularity of the place. Start early morning and you'll get to witness the fog and chill associated with a typical hillstation. People go there to see the sunrise usually and it has several joints for that early morning tea or breakfast. Tree... More

It is a must visit place if you are in Bengaluru. Ride to this place is a great one with majority of the journey is on Hyderabad NH. Rest of the journey from Nandi Cross till the hill top too is equally good. It is very important choose the right season and time for this place. During Summers, it can... More

Try avoiding Nandi hills on Sunday. The crowd is worst than what you find on brigade road on a new year Eve. This has become a very known place to all and people started flowing like some usual commercial streets in Bangalore during weekends especially in Sunday. Weekdays will be calm and quiet here and best time to visit will... More

It's just a 1 hour drive from Bangalore .you have to start at 5.30 and you should reach Nandi Hills before 6.30 to enjoy the mist . It's must visit . Nothing to do there after 9 am in nandhi hills . You can easily back home by 10 a.m .
