Great canyon experience walking along the suspended walkway to the viewing platform. The Jeep ride is exciting if you like steep, rough roadways and it isn't expensive. We booked a tour from the Kutaisi Tourist Office and visited the Prometheus Caves etc. on the same...More

We arrive in Kutaisi today noon. This city is very nice and I suggest to be there at least 2 nights. Don’t forget to see the Okatse canyon, Sataplia Nature Reserve and Prometheus Cave.

We did the walk in around 2 hours. It is around 6 km walk. Sometimes it is little heavy with the stairs. The view what you get is really nice.

If you drive to the car park you can either walk (30-45mins) or take a 4x4 taxi (10mins 20lari) to the canyon entrance. You will need about 1hour in the canyon and then time to return (10mins-45mins depending on your route... More
