On the way to Tatev Monastery, you will come across the Satan bridge. You can spend 30 minuets enjoying beautiful valley, trees, mineral water and views. There are several skulls like sculptures on the rocks around you, probably thats why this place has this name.
Ask the local guide to help you if you want to go to bottom of the valley using a fixed rope and ladder.

For me, this place is not that special. I´ve seen things like this before. Satan´s bridge is a bridge that was created naturally when the rocks fell down. Did not go to the springs, as we wanted to get some transportation to Yerevan.

The Devil Bridge natural monument is located in the Syunik region, in the deepest part of the Vorotan gorge, some 2.5km east of Tatev village. The natural bridge is about 30m long and 50-60m wide.
This natural miracle was formed over hundreds of years through the warm mineral waters and sediments of calcium salts. Accumulating on the both sides of the river, the sediments formed an arch-type natural bridge across the Vorotan river. Surrounding the bridge are warm mineral water pools, believed by some to hold therapeutic properties. Below the bridge is a spectacular stalactite cave.
The site is a popular destination for swimming and picnics, with many visitors from the town of Goris and the surrounding villages.

Stop on the way to Tatev to see how during many ages the lime from healing travertine spring was thrown from one wall to other creating a big arch over the river. Charming stalaktites are hanging from the sides of this bridje. There are hot natural springs that are used for medical purposes.

The place is interesting. If you drive to this place it's worth taking a 15 minutes walk towards tatevi anapat monastery. The path is relatively easy and offers breathtaking views

On our way to Tatev we made a stop at Satan’s Bridge to see what all the talk was about. Neat climb down for those who can make it and a quick swim in the natural pools was invigorating. A fair number of people were there when we were but it was still fun although people don’t clean up after themselves and it’s going to become a dump if people don’t respect nature and haul their trash with them.

Does not make sens to drive to Satan's Bridge only. You can stop here on your driveway to Tatev Monastery. If you use rope-way to Tatev you will skip this place.
Very nice and unique natural attraction. To see the real picture/beauty you need to walk down the "bridge" and can also swim in natural pool with warm water.
I would not recommend to go there in high season like August and especially on weekends, its too crowdy...

A fun water hole that the local boys love to jump in and swim! Its a few stairs and a bit if a walk to get to but the water sound and the place has a beautiful magical feel to it and its nice to see the local boys having fun in the pools, they are lovely as well as they help the touists down the hard slippery parts of the slopes to get to the track
