Me and a friend of mine contacted Ayim Tours to organize a trip to the desert castles of ancient Khorezm (Topraq kala, Ayaz qala...) for us.
Moreover we wanted to stay overnight at the yurt camp nearby Ayaz-Khala fortress.
The tour was honestly flawless, the driver came to pick us up in Khiva and with his experience and kindness made the difficult desert roads feel very safe.
We ended up seeing 4 fortresses and a natural reserve. The places itself are absolutely incredible and unspoiled, both from a naturalistic and historical standpoint. The yurt overnight stay is also an incredible experience.
Would definitely recommend!

We did 2 X 1 day tours to Muynak - ships in the desert and transfer Nukus to Khiva via desert fortresses. Both excellent, great guide whom spoke very good English. Very informative re history of Aral Sea, Fishing industry etc and history of fortresses. We also wanted to visit Savitsky Art Museum but had not allowed time for this as all websites said it was closed indefinitely. However when we heard a part of it was open our tour guide changed our day around to allow us to visit the museum before heading to Khiva - well worth it - it was amazing.
Upon leaving the Jipek Joli hotel one of our party left some things behind in the hotel room. Askar arranged for this to be sent to our hotel in Samarkand. Great service. Really appreciate this.

A wonderful experience! A must-do in our 22 days voyage. Unforgettable. We'll never forget the milk way, the red moonrise over the Aral sea, wakening in the silence of the yurta camp, the landscapes. Sursen (tour-guide) and Joldas (driver) were wondeful: nice, competent, smiling, caring. We felt always safe. Thanks!

A trip to Karakalpakstan was part of our independent tour of Uzbekistan. For this part (2 days) it was decided to use the services of the Ayimtour company, it was a very right choice.
We were met in Kungrad by the driver Zholdas Aga, a very careful driver and an interesting conversationalist. On the first day we went to Muynak, the second day we visited the castles of Khiva. The whole program was very interesting with a national cuisine lunch.
All organizational and financial issues are strictly by agreement.
Many thanks to the managers of the Ayimtour company and personally to the driver Zholdas Aga. He took us to a wonderful fish restaurant outside of his work schedule. There is no such delicious fish anywhere!
Recommend.

We took a cultural tour to Chimbay with Ayimtour. We had just an amazing time, we learned so much about the culture, the music, art and food. We were delighted about how nice the guides and the manager of the tour was. We totally recommend anyone to book a tour with Ayimtour, they are really great! Thank you so much for everything!

The feeling of space and general intrepidness of travelling through Karakalpakstan is travel gold. The icing on the cake is the friendliness of the people you will meet throughout the whole of Uzbekistan. it's a land unsullied by mass tourism with a positive outlook for the future.

While in Karakalpakstan for work we did the Fortresses of Khorezm tour. The tour was fantastic and the fortresses well worth the time to visit. Our guide was very informative and the van super comfortable. We were picked up at the airport in Nukus and dropped to our hotel in Khiva....extremely convenient.

The "Disappearing Aral Sea tour" with Ayimtour was hands down the highlight of our trip to Uzbekistan. The tour is well organized and quite varied. I felt very safe with our driver and the car (a Toyota Land Cruiser) was very well maintained and comfortable - even though there was 4 of us plus the driver. Food was great. The overnight at a yurt on the shore of Aral Sea is an experience on its own, though mind when windy it is very loud there. The views and attractions on the way are AMAZING and an absolute must see. The driver was very knowledgeable and told great stories, but you need to understand Russian well. If you don't, I highly recommend taking a tour guide (which is +100$). All in all, amazing tour!

First we hesitated to go all the way to the Aral sea (yes, it is quite far, you have to go all the way to Noukus then all the drive to the actual remains of the sea) and the price (for the standard prices in Uzbekistan) but we finally booked our tour.

Absolutely NO REGRETS! In fact we would have missed something. The tour was really well organised, no worries at all. The driver was also very kind and we had good exchanges with him. We felt 100% safe (and well fed!!!!)

Though what I appreciated the most with Ayim was the organisation of the trip. Gulya, the manager, is always replying quickly. She helped us with the accommodation in Noukus and the rest of the trip. Really an excellent company if you want to visit the Aral Sea.
