What a gem in the centre of Karakol. This wooden cathedral is just stunning. Beautiful architecture and colours. Definitely worth stopping by.

All wooden exterior and brightly painted interior make this a pretty church - definitely worth a visit if you are passing, though won’t keep you occupied for more than 10-15 minutes.

The cathedral was closed by the time we got there, but we still managed to walk around the grounds and click some pictures. Had to pay 20 som per person to do so.

Outside I found it more interesting then inside. Though orthodox people do kiss the paintings, which are quite flat. How it survived the Bolsjewiks I do not know.

This is a special church made in wood. The interior decoration is rather simple but it carries the tranquility. The little garden outside is nice though!

This Church is located on the Center of Karakol. Beautiful wooden Church. The garden was beautiful with all the roses. Walked around the church and the colours were amazing.
