La chiesetta in sé è piccola, recente e fatta di basalto, ma il bello è arrivarci salendo su per il vulcano spento e godersi i panorami attorno. Una deviazione ad alta quota a respirare aria di montagna.

Гора высота свыше 2000 метров,
Чистый воздух и умиротворение особенно для тех кто любит встречать рассветы и закаты, любоваться на звёздное небо.
ВНИМАНИЕ, для подъёма необходима машина 4x4 с раздаткой.

Церковь совсем недавняя. Находится на самой вершине горы Армаган – одного из самых красивых пиков Армении. Это район перевала Селим и Мартуни. Она такой, чуть «сдавленной», «сундучной» формы и вблизи выглядит не так эффектно и живописно, как от озерца в вулканической котловине. Не совсем понятно, что заставило строителей возвести здесь церковь. То есть изначально на месте вновь построенной церкви стояла более старая часовня. Она пришла в негодность и разрушилась. Ближайшие селения находятся у подножия горы, взбираться на которую (если не ехать на «Ниве» почти до самого верха) – то еще удовольствие. К тому же подъем возможен в осноном с мая по сентябрь.
