About Experiencia Cafetera
Wakecup! The Coffee Experience Coffee is more than a drink, it’s experience and it’s culture. Meet the farmer who grows the beans and a cup of will never be the same. The Coffee Experience seeks to authentically connect visitors/travelers with the Colombian coffee culture, the 2011 declared UNESCO World Heritage. Immerse into the world of coffee to discover all that lies in a cup of coffee. Our guides are the real experts, the farmers themselves. They will introduce you to the secrets of the Colombian specialty coffee, showing and explaining the entire process from the cultivation via the processing to the preparation of coffee. Experience the day-to-day life on a coffee farm. The tour starts in Pijao. On a walk through this authentic coffee town explore the typical architecture and immerse into the world of Colombian coffee while visiting several places of importance for trade and culture. On a Willy, the typical way of transportation in this region we drive to a coffee farm, passing through the beautiful landscape with emerald-colored coffee fields. The farmer awaits us here with a typical and delicious lunch and to show us around his farm. He will tell and show all about the life, the culture and sure everything about the coffee! When it’s time to leave an original 1950s Willy picks us up at the farm to bring us back to the main plaza of Pijao. Find all the details on our Webpage Our experiences are offered in both Spanish and English.
