We did horse trek with Pegas Adventure. The way is difficult for horse but landscape is Amazing so beautiful. To get lake only one way go/back. We slept Altynbeks yurt camp, family is very hospitality, meals deliciouse.

Just came back from 2-days tour in Kol-Ukok lake.
I called Joomart and he organized tour for us quickly. Horses are calm and very strong. Yurt is located half hour before lake and very silence there.

Kol Ukok is situated south side of Kochkor 30 -35 km From Kochkor. Early in june still snow and cold. But the lake is very beautiful. A lot of flowers on the way.

I would recommend leaving either very early in the morning and doing the whole trek in one day or maybe leaving in the afternoon hiking up half way then stay at the yurt and do the rest of the trek early the next morning.
