Very disappointed when myself and a friend arrived at the Serles station in Mieders at 10:30 to catch the cable car to Köppeneck to begin our hike only to find it closed! This is despite their website saying they are open (from 09:00-16:30) and the...More

The ride up is a regular cable-car, but you have the option to ride the rodelbahn down - a tiny go-cart contraption with a seat-belt carries you headlong down a rail at speed, through tight bends, hurtling down 800m. It is exhilarating, terrifying, wonderful. Please...More

First you take the cable car up then you spend the day walking, eating, relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Nice play ground for the little ones including a lovely mini lake. Then you take the coaster or cable car down the choice is yours.

What do I mean? My guess is that if you do not have someone in front of you going much more slowly than you want to go, it would easily be a 5 star thrill. However, if as in my case you're unlucky enough to...More
