Filled with 18th-century paintings and ornate rooms, this white and gold palace is surrounded by a 1400-acre park complete with fountains, bridges, the Agate Pavilion bathhouse and the Great Pond. The Palace also has a famous Amber Room, stolen by Nazi troops during WWII, but now recreated by Russian craftsmen.

What a phenomenal palace -- almost more gold than your eyes can take it! And the wood floors are incredible pieces of artwork also. But the crowning jewel is the Amber Room in which all the walls have been crafted out of amber -- unbelievable.

Beautiful palace in the city. The amber room is so worth a visit. Again cnt take pics inside. But the palace is so beautiful and cannot be missed.
