Absolutely phenomenal. It's over a decade since I was last here and top of my to do list this time was to re-do a whale watching trip. Our children were thrilled! We saw LOTS of humpback whales. The trip sets off very early, 5am from the hotel so expect tired kids as by the time you've done the bus trip to the boat, then it's a good hour and a half out to see, then approx 30 mins actually with the whales, then about half hour to the (stunning) island of Samana, then some bites to eat and amazing cocktails straight from fresh coconuts through straws... Then all the way back again it's more a 3/4 if the day trip. Definitely do it though, you don't regret it! The photo taken was one my better half took. That's how close they get - they were leaping about in the water, splashing their tails, the lot 👌🐳

We were promised this would be on a boat and that motion sickness pills would be provided.......both falsehoods.......the trip was on a very rocky catamaran....it was so rough people were vomiting over each other, and elderly lady was crying in fear......yes, we saw whales but it was just awful......

Not professional treatment. they left us on a island to wait someone that never came. So at the end a guy from the tour put us on an other but that didn’t took us to Samana port... but now that I read the feedback I see isn’t the first time. Was a stressful situation and we couldn’t reach the operator via phone, no one answered I suggest you to book with an other operator, because for sure the whale are very nice!

First at all the appointment was at 8.30 AM we arrived and had to wait one hour more. They put us on the boat and left there for 30 min under a storm without protection or nothing. Completely wet we start out journey. Whales are amazing super nice experience!! But because we had only the half day and the rest of the group all day they left us on cayo levantado telling us someone will pick us up soon but we had to wait 1 hour. At the end they asked a stranger to bring us back to Samaná port. The man took us to an other port telling us we have to find an other way to go back to Samaná. We were I don’t know where... I tried to call the company and they didn’t care. Telling me they will send someone... no one came, exactely like in Cayo levantando so we had to organize a transport alone. No respect and they were laughing at the phone.... no comment I saw other boats from other company... more organize plus they had something to cover in plastic so they didn’t get wet. Guys this company is to forget!! For this amount of money you can find a real service also because they guide is mute we never get information on explanation about where we are or something like this!!! Worts Experience I have ever had
