I have visited four strawberry farms in Japan and Mimasaka has the sweeter, tastier and more variety one so far. There are abundant berries to pick and taste for 40 minutes which is plentiful. For strawberry lovers, this should be a paradise.

It was fun taking young kids to pick and eat strawberries but it's way overpriced. There are two different rates, holiday prices and weekday prices and we paid the former.
Adults 1,900 yen for all you can eat in 40 minutes and elementary school age kids 1,600 yen. You can't take any home, you have to eat them on site. Kids 13 and over have to pay adult prices which is a rort.
While the 4 different varieties of strawberries they had on offer were extremely delicious, after 20 minutes, you soon feel like you never want to eat strawberries ever again so 40 minutes is more than enough.
If it was half the price, I'd recommend it but as is, it's overpriced.
