Very disappointing -- bad access roads, very little to recommend it, minimal upkeep, AND there are so many better alternatives in the area!

A very large park preserving old oak wood forest with beautiful flowers.
You need to bring everything but the large trees offer lot of places for family picnics

we were on a singing tour of the songs of Rachel Shapira who lives and writes on a kibbutz near by. The part itself was lovely and the songs enhanced it greatly

On weekends and holidays this park can become very congested and parking is not that plentiful even crossing the main road(4) with your car can be a bit risky ..but when the weather is nice it is definitely a spot to spend a few hrs with small kids usually there is something there for them like pony rides

Thiis is one of my favorite trails where i like to take my customers and guests for a fun offroad experience on a sunny after-noon for 2-3 hours of offroad on sandy hills' you can do it with experiences drivers all the way to the top of the sandy dunes or just drive along the long metal fences and make some short stops to walk down the hill to the water' (the Israeli law does not allow any driving ' include offroads vehicles wihtin 100 meter from the sea line (300 feet)' so there is a metal fence to make the difference and you can safely ridr over the BLUE TRAIL from south of Givat Olga to Michmoret and than take the muddy trail along the alexander river to the soft tartle' some of the roads are suitables for health youngs and teemn-agers with qualiified mountain bikes. enjoy- and once you are in israel feel free to contact me for details' questions or for offroad expereince too - Leor Nevo 0547885039 Jeepon-Naim

Its hard to tell all about a nature resort in 1000 carecters...ill do my best. the resort is about 2.5 km lengh and 1+ width, north to the vilige of Michmoret till Hadera suberb "giva't olga". its coatline featuars lone shures with soft sandston clifes, with some occational half sanken plates, like shallow reefs. unfornatulay very little fish there due to extreem overfishing. one can walk the way all along all over the coast.

the upper part is made from 2 shallow ridges of the mentioned sandstone, with beach and sand dune founa and flora. in the sudden part some sand dunes are found. along the clifs run an unpaved road in very bad qulity, only for 4*4 drive vihcles.

many plantes and animels are typical for the beach and desert aria. in between the ridges lots of stablized sand had became frutile and we can find even small trees, water and some agrocultar. this is the base for the swamps that had been dried by the zionists in 1900'.

another part is easte to road 2, called Hasaron Park.

This park spreads on a 5 km long beach and green hils with season wild flowers like beach lilys in summer and purple Iris in winter.
It has an area of nature reserve for sea turtle nesting. That is the reason why kamping in that beach is not allowed, espesialy in summer whan the eggs are hatching.
in summer you can take a tour and maybe you'll be lucky and watch the eggs hatching.

You can also have a horse ride to the beach fom "The Cactus Ranch" located nearby

or just chill on the magnificent beach !
